Another Monday, another dollar. More news on the Al-Qaeda show, sponsored by the arms industry, the ridiculous theatre of world politics and plenty of fake news links to assist in the confusion that plagues modern consciousness.

I would trade all of the urban pleasures for a cabin in the jungle, but unfortunately you can hear the bulldozers there too, crawling closer as extensions of greedy hands, bringing more concrete landscapes to a cinema near you.

What else can I do but attempt to chronicle this constant struggle of humanity in the novel I’m trying to finish, yet increasingly seems pointless in the madness and sadness of the 21st century. Creativity blossoms up in waves, to be trampled upon by drama and distractions. But a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do. And so the battle continues…
